To evaluate the effectiveness of Gold-wire instruments, studies used to perform cyclic fatigue tests by using same shaped instruments, treated with different thermal procedures. Methodology: A total of 240 instruments, Reciproc Blue, Reciproc, WaveOne Gold and WaveOne, (60 of each), were tested at room and intracanal temperature using both a static and a dynamic model (n = 15) in a stainless-steel artificial canal with an inner diameter of 1.5 mm, 60° angle of curvature and 5 mm radius of curvature until fracture occurred. In the RECIPROC Blue group (VDW, Munich, Germany), the R25 with a size of 25 and 8% taper was used in the same manner as WaveOne gold files; these two files were used in a reciprocating motion.
